First Baptist Academy depends on the generosity of our entire community to sustain and advance our mission.
The FBA community helps develop a school of scholars that seek to explore, create, challenge, and lead, and understands that we need everyone to contribute in time, talent, and financial resources. Every aspect of our school, from academics to fine arts, athletics to technology, relies on the support and the partnership of our supporters.

Matching Donations
Double your impact by checking with your employer about Matching Gifts! A matching gift is a gift from a corporate or community employer that parallels your gift to a charitable cause. Many employers match gifts to educational institutions such as First Baptist Academy. Contact your Human Resources Office for matching gift information.
In honor of our founding year, 1998, supporters who make a gift of $1,998 or more will gain membership to the Warrior Legacy Club. As a member, you'll be invited to exclusive donor events with the head of school, receive special recognition on campus and enjoy the benefit of open reserved seating at select FBA programs. Your generosity not only honors FBA’s founding year but also strengthens the legacy of our Warrior community for future generations.

Each year, FBA requests gifts of time, talent, and resources from our community. The Warrior Fund is our formal request for financial resources and is important for the continued financial health of First Baptist Academy. It represents a pool of undesignated donations which permit FBA to invest in strategic priorities throughout the year. The gifts will specifically support the following strategic priorities within our strategic plan: retention of our highly-talented faculty and their continued professional development.
We recognize that there are opportunities to support First Baptist Academy in addition to The Warrior Fund, and we appreciate your participation in all of them; however, the school formally asks that you give to The Warrior Fund first. It is the most critical funding needed and allows the school to continue to achieve its mission of “Equipping students with the Truth of God’s Word…to Explore, Create, Challenge, and Lead”. Further, The Warrior Fund serves as an instrument that compels accountability to our strategic plan. We commit to continuously informing you of our progress on this strategic plan.
Yes. Tuition is the “price tag” for a private school education, but it is not the true cost. As a private Christian school, First Baptist Academy operates without financial support from local, state and federal governments. We are committed to keep tuition lower than cost to make Christian education available to a greater number of students. For private schools, Annual Giving is a tax-deductible way to ensure educational excellence.
To cover the actual cost of educating a student would require a significant tuition increase. Such an increase would violate one of First Baptist Academy’s core values; enrollment reflecting the racial, ethnic, and economic diversity within the body of Christ. FBA, like other private schools, generates its funding from a variety of sources. These include tuition, private grants, and fundraising from parents, alumni, and other community members. Tax-deductible donations to The Warrior Fund represent a vital 4% of the School’s operating budget, thus reducing each student’s annual tuition cost and encouraging a diverse student body.
Yes, absolutely! Matching gifts allow you to double (and sometimes triple!) your donation through your employer. Simply check with your HR or Benefits department to see if such a program exists and how to get started. Submitting a matching gift is often as easy as completing an online form or filling out a piece of paper. Once initiated, First Baptist Academy works with your employer to take care of the rest!
Donations can be made online, sent in the mail by check, text-to-give, call to give, or pledge. They may be pledged monthly, quarterly, or in one single payment. Additionally, a gift of securities can be made by contacting the Advancement Office. Gifts of appreciated securities provide you with a tax deduction for the appreciated value of the stock without incurring capital gains tax. The Warrior Fund runs on the School’s fiscal year calendar starting on July 1 and closing on June 30.
