When You Say Yes, You Bring Our Mission to Life
When you SAY YES to The Warrior Fund, you enable FBA to say yes to the projects and initiatives that bring our mission to life. The impact is both immediate and eternal, equipping every student with the Truth of God’s Word while developing their character, intellect and potential to EXPLORE, CREATE, CHALLENGE and LEAD.
Tuition covers essential operations. The Warrior Fund makes the difference. As FBA’s annual, repeatable and dependable giving program, The Warrior Fund enhances the day-to-day operations that make our school exceptional, from classroom resources and student programs to faculty development and campus enhancements.
The Warrior Fund, comprising 4% of FBA’s annual operating budget, directly impacts every student and teacher by:
- Attracting and retaining Christian educators devoted to scholarly excellence through competitive salaries and benefits.
- Providing financial assistance to families in need and making Christian education available to a greater number of students.
- Supporting campus, curriculum and program enhancements that cultivate a rigorous and fulfilling educational experience.
- Funding technology upgrades that enhance parents’ access to their child’s academic progress, strengthens a teacher’s classroom integration and builds 21st-century skills in all learners.
Each year, FBA’s board of trustees and FBA’s faculty and staff set the tone for the heart of generosity at our school by achieving 100% participation in The Warrior Fund. Their commitment lays the foundation for a culture of generosity across our community and serves as a powerful vote of confidence in the mission of the school.

The Warrior Fund is fueled by direct, unrestricted giving and the proceeds of our bi-annual signature fundraising events:
- DIRECT GIVING – Year-long, unrestricted, tax-deductible gifts with immediate impact.
- WARRIORS ON THE GREEN GOLF & PICKLEBALL TOURNAMENT – Donate, sponsor, volunteer or play. All proceeds benefit The Warrior Fund.
- DINNER & AUCTION – Donate, bid, attend or sponsor. All proceeds benefit The Warrior Fund.

SAY YES with Purpose
With Purpose is a school wide generosity initiative designed to bring clarity, joy and intentionality to the way our community gives and serves. It reflects our belief that every act of giving, serving and supporting is intentional, impactful and aligned with what matters most.
Ultimately, With Purpose ensures that when you give to The Warrior Fund you can be confident it is making the greatest impact on our mission and on the lives of our students and teachers.
We are, so we do. With Purpose.
“With Purpose has reduced the number of asks throughout the year and ensured that giving is focused on what truly matters. As both a parent and a teacher, knowing my gift supports strategic initiatives that directly impact our school and students allows me to focus my limited resources where they make the greatest difference.”
- Meredith Bingham,
Entrepreneurship Program Advisor, Sixth Grade Math Teacher and FBA Parent

Warrior Shield Society members receive:
- Year-round recognition at events, on digital signage and in publications.
- First access to naming opportunities at fundraising events.

Leadership giving at First Baptist Academy is designed as a yearlong partnership rooted in clarity, intention and mission alignment. Rather than supporting individual events through separate asks, leadership donors make one intentional gift that supports The Warrior Fund and advances FBA’s priorities for the entire year.
This approach simplifies the giving experience by allowing donors to focus on a single, meaningful commitment while clearly understanding their level of partnership and impact. Leadership gifts support the full scope of FBA’s mission, providing flexibility to meet academic, spiritual and operational needs as they arise.
For First Baptist Academy, this model supports thoughtful, strategic planning and responsible stewardship by ensuring key priorities are resourced from the start of the year. For donors, it offers consistent, yearlong acknowledgment, meaningful engagement opportunities and the option to align their sponsorship with specific events or initiatives as part of their overall partnership.

SAY YES
We recognize that there are opportunities to support First Baptist Academy in addition to The Warrior Fund, and we appreciate your participation in all of them; however, the school formally asks that you give to The Warrior Fund first. It is the most critical funding needed and allows the school to continue to achieve its mission of “Equipping students with the Truth of God’s Word…to Explore, Create, Challenge, and Lead”. Further, The Warrior Fund serves as an instrument that compels accountability to our strategic plan. We commit to continuously informing you of our progress on this strategic plan.
Yes. Tuition is the “price tag” for a private school education, but it is not the true cost. As a private Christian school, First Baptist Academy operates without financial support from local, state and federal governments. We are committed to keep tuition lower than cost to make Christian education available to a greater number of students. For private schools, Annual Giving is a tax-deductible way to ensure educational excellence.
To cover the actual cost of educating a student would require a significant tuition increase. Such an increase would violate one of First Baptist Academy’s core values; enrollment reflecting the racial, ethnic, and economic diversity within the body of Christ. FBA, like other private schools, generates its funding from a variety of sources. These include tuition, private grants, and fundraising from parents, alumni, and other community members. Tax-deductible donations to The Warrior Fund represent a vital 4% of the School’s operating budget, thus reducing each student’s annual tuition cost and encouraging a diverse student body.
