At First Baptist Academy, we believe an entrepreneurial mindset is about more than starting businesses; it's about shaping bold thinkers, creative problem-solvers and compassionate leaders.
Beginning in kindergarten, students learn to think differently, act with intention and serve with impact. By middle school, they’re launching real ventures rooted in faith, purpose and leadership. Entrepreneurship at FBA begins with mindset and ends with mission, preparing students for a life of Kingdom impact.
We don’t know exactly what the future holds, but we do know the kind of leaders it will need: difference makers and overcomers who are steadfast in truth.

Lower School
Our youngest learners develop a strong foundation in core subjects while exploring hands-on, project-based experiences. From collaborative math challenges to interactive science labs, students grow in curiosity, perseverance and confidence. Rooted in academic excellence, they are learning the habits and mindset that will prepare them for future challenges.
Transformed Thinking, Eternal Purpose
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind.” – Romans 12:2
This renewal of the mind is at the heart of First Baptist Academy’s Entrepreneurial Mindset initiative. Because we serve a creative God and are made in His image, our students are created to create, to take risks, to view failure as a pathway to growth and to design solutions that serve others for God’s glory.
It’s a mindset grounded in Biblical truth. We are shaping difference makers, students prepared not just for the next step but for whatever the future holds.
Middle School
By middle school, students are applying their skills in new ways using technology, brainstorming solutions, building and presenting projects. Here, they cultivate adaptability, creativity and courage, learning to approach unknown problems with confidence. First Baptist Academy equips students to embrace challenges as opportunities and view failure as a step toward growth.
Open to seventh and eighth grade students, culminating in a Certificate of Entrepreneurship and Leadership upon graduation, our multi-year pathway includes coaching, coursework and fully student-led business experiences. One venture, The SWAP Shop—Serving With a Purpose, provides healthy snacks on campus while giving students hands-on experience in leadership, problem-solving and service.

Why It Matters
First Baptist Academy is becoming a differentiated leader in Christian education through redemptive entrepreneurship, a model that goes beyond doing business well. At its heart, redemptive entrepreneurship is about joining God’s work of restoration through creativity, service, and courage. Our students are not simply launching ventures; they are learning to recognize brokenness in the world and respond with redemptive solutions that reflect the heart of Christ.
With the entrepreneurial mindset woven across every level of the school, students are nurtured to think boldly, act purposefully, and serve others faithfully. They graduate not only academically strong, but also spiritually grounded, visionary, and ready to lead.
At First Baptist Academy, we are raising a generation that doesn’t just navigate the future; they shape it.
