Community Events
First Baptist Academy hosts a variety of special events for our community each year which celebrate our students, our faculty and staff, and our community. Several of these events help to raise funds to support different programs; while others focus on community building and fellowship.

Donuts with Dad
Primary Students (Infants-PreK4) and their dads are invited to us for donuts. Donuts with Dad will take place on a Friday morning in the fall on the FBA campus.
A WARRIOR PARENTS ASSOCIATION EVENT
Mother Son Warrior Games
Bridge Kinder through Eighth Grade boys and their moms are encouraged to team up together to battle other mother/son teams in some friendly competition, Warrior style! These games are on a Friday in the fall after school hours and are off campus at Warrior Field.

Warriors on the Green Golf Tournament
The annual Warriors on the Green Golf Tournament is held at BlackHorse Golf Club in the fall. Get involved by securing a team, underwriting a sponsorship opportunity, or volunteering your time.
A FIRST BAPTIST ACADEMY FUNRAISING EVENT
Chili Cookoff
Parents are encouraged to organize teams to cook their best chili and cornbread recipes while showcasing their best team spirit during a fall sports game! This event is after school hours in the fall to raise money for Warrior Parents Association. Everyone gets a chance to taste and vote on their favorite chili, favorite cornbread and best team spirit. Bring the whole family out to have some fun, eat some food and support the Warriors!

Book Fair
A week long celebration of books where all are welcome! The Book Fair is held in the FBA library and in the lobby of the Primary School. The week’s activities include a family night, book character day for the students and daily book sales. This event runs on a Monday through Friday prior to Thanksgiving Break.

Grandparents & Family Friends Day
All First Baptist Academy students are encouraged to invite their grandparents or family friends to enjoy light breakfast bites, tour the FBA campus, meet their teacher, shop the book fair, attend a special chapel service, and take a family photo. This special day is held on the last Friday morning of book fair prior to Thanksgiving Break.

FBA Day at HFBC
Houston’s First Baptist Church celebrates First Baptist Academy as a ministry of the church. All FBA families are encouraged to attend. FBA Day is one Sunday in the Winter at Houston’s First Baptist Church - Loop Campus.
A HOUSTON'S FIRST BAPTIST ACADEMY EVENT
Father Daughter Ball
Bridge Kinder through Eighth Grade girls are swept away by their fathers for a memorable night of dinner, dancing and fun! This is a special evening on a Saturday around Valentine’s Day where dads get a chance to treat their favorite girl(s). The Father Daughter Ball is held in the Fellowship Hall of Houston’s First Baptist Church - Loop Campus.

Buckaroo Breakfast
All Warrior students and their families get to dress up in their best Go Texan Day duds and join us for breakfast on Go Texan Day prior to the start of school in the Fellowship Hall of Houston’s First Baptist Church - Loop Campus.

Warrior Day
This is a split event between our Primary and Lower and Middle School families that takes place on a Friday morning during school hours in the Spring Semester. Infants through PreK4 students, Warrior Field comes to you! Enjoy fun activities here on the FBA campus. Bridge Kinder through Eighth grade students participate in a field day at Warrior Field. Parents are invited to attend and join in.

Family Movie Night
First Baptist Academy students and families, grab your blankets and come enjoy a family friendly movie night on an evening in the spring at Houston’s First Baptist Church - Loop Campus on the Lawn at the Loop after school hours.

Dinner & Auction
All parents and friends of First Baptist Academy are invited to participate in this special dinner and auction fundraising event to raise needed funds for the school. The auction is held off campus at a fun venue in the spring.

All Primary School students (Infants-PreK4) get to treat their mom to delicious muffins for breakfast on a Friday morning in May around Mother’s Day on campus.
