Lindsey Asarch attended First Baptist Academy from 6th Grade-8th Grade. After graduation, she attended school at Episcopal High School. Lindsey made the JV Cheerleading squad and continued cheering on Varsity the last three years of high school. Lindsey was accepted into the University of Alabama and attended from fall 2014- fall 2015.
Spring of 2016, she transferred to Charleston Southern University in Charleston, South Carolina. While attending school, she was a part of the Student Leadership Academy and was a member of the university's cheerleading squad from 2016-2018. Lindsey was elected by the student body into the Student Government Association. Lindsey was appointed to Press Secretary and then Commuter Committee Chairman. Lindsey was inducted into the National Grand Chapter American Criminal Justice Association Lambda Alpha Epsilon in 2017.
Lindsey graduated from Charleston Southern University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science degree. She majored in Political Science and minored in Criminal Justice. Once she graduated, Lindsey became a volunteer coordinator for Caris Healthcare, a hospice. She increased the volunteer base and brand awareness for both the Charleston and Bluffton offices. While attending events at local nursing homes and facilities, Lindsey found a passion for helping the elderly. She later accepted a position to be an activity leader for an assistant living community. Lindsey loved to see the smiles on everyone’s faces when she hosted events and activities. Lindsey then took her talents and skills to became the Camp Director for the Mount Pleasant Recreation Center. She loved to help create memorable summers for her campers. Currently, she is looking forward to the summer of 2021.
During the school year, Lindsey is a cheerleading coach for Military Magnet High School in Charleston. She founded Tygrys Media in December of 2020 to help small businesses affected by the pandemic. Lindsey hopes to come back to Texas in the near future to visit the place where she learned to love history and government because of Ms. Silburn.
Lenoir Blunk attended First Baptist Academy from 3rd grade through 8th grade and went to Houston Christian High School with many friends from FBA. While she attended Houston Christian, Lenoir was very involved in Student Council, art, and the Honor Society. Upon graduation in 2010, she enrolled at the University of Texas at Austin, where she received her Bachelor of Science with a Minor in Business from McComb's School of Business. It was during Lenoir's business classes that she realized she wanted to learn more about finance. From there, Lenoir applied to graduate programs seeking a Masters of Business Administration or a Masters of Finance. In the end, she received her Master's of Business Administration with a focus in Finance from Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business. Lenoir is now in Commercial Banking with Bank of Texas, in the Accelerated Career Track (ACT) Program. She is happy that her job brought her back to Houston with her Warrior, Mustang, and Longhorn friends, accompanied by her dog Westy, who joined her family during her time at FBA.
After graduating from First Baptist Academy in 2007, Priya went on to attend Houston Christian High School, where she made many good friends with whom she pursued a variety of interests: basketball, tennis, Student Council, and lead a group of students on a backpacking trip in China. After high school, Priya enrolled at the University of Texas at Austin as a double major in Biomedical Engineering and Plan II Honors. Throughout her college education, she participated in intramural sports, undergraduate research, and professional societies. During the summers, Priya interned with Stryker Endoscopy, a leading biomedical device company, in San Jose, California – first as a Research and Development intern and then as an Operations intern. After successfully completing her second internship, she was offered a full time position to move to California and work for Stryker Endoscopy as a Process Quality Engineer. Priya has been working in this role and absolutely loves it. She says that life in the Bay Area has been nothing short of incredible. In her role, she works to improve the quality of the products and processes alike as well as develops new ways to improve. During the week, Priya says her work is challenging, fast-paced, and engaging. On the weekends, she tries to experience the variety of outdoor activities that the Bay Area and its surrounding regions have to offer. Over the past year, she has been hiking in the snow of Yosemite National Park, skiing at Heavenly, kayaking with sea otters in Monterey Bay, jet skiing on Lake Tahoe, and swimming in the ocean at Carmel. Although Texas will always be her home, she has been very blessed to be able to spend this time working for an amazing company in California.
Tyler Look went on from FBA to Houston Christian High School from which he graduated in 2011. Double majoring in Business Administration: Aviation Management and German International Trade with a minor in Spanish, Tyler graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2015 from Auburn University. He then was awarded a prestigious Fulbright Scholarship which he used to conduct research in Urban Intermodality in Berlin, Germany following graduation. Today, Tyler is employed in Mainz, Germany in the Business Aviation sector and continues to travel in his free time.
