Warrior Fund

THE CHALLENGE:

THE REALITY:

The average FBA tuition falls just shy of the approximate cost to educate each child. To cover the actual cost would require a significant tuition increase, which would violate one of FBA’s core values, making Christian education available to a greater number of students – therein lies the CHALLENGE. The Warrior Fund is our means to fill this gap through tax-deductible donations. It is a vital 3.5% of the school's operating budget which allows us to continue pursuing missional opportunities.

THE IMPACT:

Until recently, FBA fell short of the industry standard for private school teacher salaries by a substantial margin. Today, we are happy to report that we have made significant progress moving to 83% of public school salaries. Our CHALLENGE is to be at the same level as our private school peers, and with your help we will soon be able to offer competitive salaries to our teachers.

GIVING TO THE WARRIOR FUND

Unrestricted gifts to The Warrior Fund allow us to impact our teachers and your student in some of the following ways, which align with our strategic plan:

up to $1,000

FBA encourages teachers to EXPLORE their unique God-given gifts and talents with professional development opportunities. The current focus is equipping each teacher with 30 hours of Gifted and Talented (GT) training at a cost of $1,000 each.

up to $3,500

FBA CREATES a culture of spiritual and personal growth by offering our teachers a graduate degree partial reimbursement program. Supporting our teachers in this way fosters an environment of academic growth for our teachers and your student.

up to $5,000

FBA CHALLENGES teachers and students academically, athletically and spiritually with state of the art technology and enrichment equipment. FBA is currently in the process of replacing 30 Smart Boards at $5,000 each.

up to $7,500+

Our teachers make a financial sacrifice to have the liberty to openly LEAD our students to the Cross in the classroom. FBA is committed to continue covering full-time employees with a group medical plan as part of their benefits package. This is an important recruiting tool as competing schools do not offer benefits at this level.

Families who make a contribution of $1,000 or more will receive a Legacy Brick in the rotunda.
