What is Bridge Kindergarten?

Bridge Kindergarten is offered as an option at FBA. This gives students the gift of time from PreK4 before entering into Kindergarten, should parents decide that this is the best option.

Bridge Kindergarten Curriculum: Students will enjoy Bob Jones curriculum for math and phonics, as well as supplemental Neuhaus curriculum for reading readiness, STEMscopes science, and Handwriting Without Tears. It will offer an academic step up from PreK4 short of the full load of Kindergarten.

Bridge Kindergarten Student/Teacher Class Ratio: This is 8:1 in contrast to the 16:1 student teacher ratio present in FBA Kindergarten classes. This will enable these students to enjoy more individualized attention and extra support. For more information, contact Mary Torregrossa, Director of Admissions.

Do you offer after-school care?

First Baptist Academy offers an after-school program called Encore. The program is for Bridge Kindergarten-8th Grade students immediately after school until 6:00PM, Monday - Friday. More information about Encore here.

Do you offer financial assistance?

We offer need-based aid to students accepted into the Kindergarten program and above. Families must apply for financial assistance through FAST (Financial Aid for School Tuition). More information here.
