Looking Back at Parent Night

Looking Back at Parent Night
By: Carrie Bowden, PreK and Lower School Principal & Jenni Razeghi, Middle School Principal
We were so glad to welcome prek3-eighth grade families to campus last week for Parent Night! This event was an opportunity to visit classrooms and hear directly from teachers about the year ahead. Topics included curriculum goals, classroom expectations and innovative projects planned for the year. Nights like this are important for continuing to build the relationship between home and school to support learning for all our students.

In prek and lower school, families heard from homeroom teachers before meeting the enrichment team, getting a full picture of both the daily classroom and the specialized instruction their children will receive throughout the year.
In middle school, parents followed a modified class schedule, traveling as a grade to hear from content-area teachers and closed the evening with visits to fine arts teachers, who shared their vision and goals for the year.
Thank you to all the families who joined us for Parent Night at First Baptist Academy! We're grateful for the strong start to the year this partnership makes possible, and we look forward to all that's ahead.
