Fifth Grade Warriors Celebrate Their Rise into Middle School

It has been such a joy watching our middle schoolers settle back into the rhythm of the school year, and we could not be more excited to highlight our first field trip of the school year for our incoming fifth graders. 

This past week, our students went on the second annual "Warriors Rising" field trip, which was a fun-filled, team-building day where fifth graders celebrated rising up and officially becoming part of middle school at First Baptist Academy.

Joshua 1:9 is our verse for this year's fifth graders, which says, "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."

The event is exclusive to fifth grade students and gives us an opportunity to build relationships with our newest middle schoolers and celebrate their "rise" into this next stage at FBA. Students spent time off campus for an immersive, interactive studio experience at Game Show Studio Houston, where they worked together in teams, building communication and teamwork skills along the way. 

Our prayer for this event was that it would help our students feel welcome as they enter middle school and build excitement for starting this new chapter of their FBA journey.
