Introducing the First Family Chapel of the School Year

One of the most meaningful ways we begin a new school year at First Baptist Academy is by coming together as a Warrior Family in worship and prayer. This Wednesday, our bridge kinder through eighth grade students will gather for our first Lower School and Middle School Family Chapel of the year, formerly known as All School Chapel. While these students will attend as part of their school day, we warmly invite parents of students of all ages to join us for this special time together.

Our first Family Chapel is always a memorable one because it helps set the tone for the year ahead. This first Family Chapel will last a little longer, approximately 45 minutes, so we can officially reveal and explore our school year theme, hear a message from All School Chaplain Chad Chambers, worship together with Chris Collee from Houston’s First and spend intentional time in prayer led by Kevin Spivey, Houston’s First minister and FBA parent. Those who attended Back to School Orientation may have already caught a small preview of this year’s theme on our new spirit shirt, but we look forward to sharing the heart and purpose behind it with our entire community.

I highly encourage you to attend this first Family Chapel to kick off the new year! I can think of no better way to begin the year than together, centered on God’s Truth.
