Additional Programs & Services
Many of our students participate in Encore, our after school program. This program provides supervision in a Christian atmosphere for FBA students as an extension of the regular school day.
Students get some "down-time" to relax after a busy school day. Snacks are offered and physical activity is encouraged. Students 1st - 4th Grade also have the opportunity to complete homework.
Encore is available for Grades K-4 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Grades 5-8 from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
First child - $220 per month
Each additional child - $160 per month
Daily Charge - $30 per day (Example: 12 days = $360)
We are pleased to connect families with a wide variety of after school and extracurricular activities. From foreign languages to fine arts to athletics, our students have access to amazing opportunities. Please click here for a full list. Please note, these offerings are not affiliated with Encore.
FBA partners with Culinary Services through Houston's First Baptist Church to provide your child with delicious and nutritious meals.

All of our PreK through 8th grade students participate in weekly chapel services geared toward their age group. Chapel is one of the many ways we encourage a love for God and others in our students.
Whether it is a song with silly motions for our youngest students or an engaging presentation about building water wells in under-developed countries for our middle schoolers, our students are being challenged and encouraged in their faith.
We invite parents to join us each week!
Primary & Lower Schools Chapel
On Wednesdays, our PreK students gather for Chapel. On Thursdays, Kinder - 4th grade students gather together for chapel. This is a highlight each week filled with energetic singing and engaging speakers. Students help lead the music and classes show off their memorization skills by reciting their weekly Bible verses.
Middle School Chapel
On Thursdays, our middle school students are encouraged and challenged to live faith-filled lives during their chapel time. Students help lead worship and hear messages from a range of people - from Christian rap artists to pastors from Houston's First Baptist Church. It is a meaningful time for them to come together as a school to be encouraged to love and serve God and others.
