First Friends, the FBA parent association, welcomes all volunteers! First Friends has many opportunities for parents and grandparents to serve the school, faculty, staff and students throughout the school year. From ongoing roles to one-time needs, you are sure to find a perfect fit with your interests and schedule.

Ministering to Others
Benevolence – help FBA families and staff in times of need by providing meals during hospital stays or any type of ministry Prayer Partners – pray in groups by grade level for our school, staff and students. |
Fundraisers
Great America – coordinate the disbursement of the products so parents can pick up their orders. Butter Braids – coordinate the disbursement of the products so parents can pick up their orders. Box Tops – help promote the Box Top opportunities throughout the entire school with various events and communication. |
Special Events
Book Fair – assist during this week of fun events revolving around books and reading. Warrior Day – volunteer at the most fun day at FBA - this event requires many volunteers and is a great fellowship event. Uniform Resale – at year-end, First Friends sponsors a "resale shop" for parents to sell outgrown Parker uniforms. Neighborhood Coffees – help organize the parent coffees for each grade level and join in the fun as you meet other parents. Muffins with Mom and Buckaroo Breakfast with Dad – assist with breakfast on two special mornings for the kids and their mom or dad to have breakfast together Uniform Resale – at year-end, First Friends sponsors a "resale shop" for parents to sell outgrown Parker uniforms. |
Help the Staff
Teacher Appreciation – assist with monthly reminders for each teacher, showing how much we appreciate them. Library Helpers – assist with a variety of projects in the library, from reading to students to helping behind the scenes. Friends of the Fine Arts – help design and decorate sets for grade level plays. Booster Club – help with several opportunities surrounding FBA athletic activities. |
