Fine Arts

At First Baptist Academy, instruction in the arts is a vital component of the curriculum. All students receive exposure to drama, music, and visual arts while they are a part of the FBA family. Students are encouraged to explore all of the arts to find their own talent, use the program to hone these God-given skills, and grow as a leader in the arts.

Art education at FBA is student centered. Students are encouraged to explore their own interests and incorporate their ideas into the creative process. In all of the art programs, students learn to respect the work of their peers. Students also learn time management, discipline, and the value of hard work as they prepare for their talent to be showcased.

FBA's fine arts program is taught by a dedicated and knowledgeable staff. The arts faculty attends conferences to keep themselves up to date on the latest educational methods. Teachers in the fine arts department teach to each student's strengths, many times developing unique programs specifically for the students in each class.

Whether a child enjoys the brush, the band hall, the potter's wheel, or the stage, First Baptist Academy has the resources to develop leaders in whichever artistic discipline they choose.
