The early school years provide the educational foundation that students build upon for the rest of their lives. In the Lower School at First Baptist Academy, we understand how critical this foundation is to the students' future success.

Our faculty stresses the importance of experiential learning in the context of an engaging and robust curriculum. Since all teachers pursue professional development opportunities, they stay current on the latest educational findings and apply this knowledge to the instruction they provide in the classroom.

Through on-campus activities and off-campus field trips, students discover how their new knowledge has real-world application. The director of Innovations, our gifted and talented program, partners with classroom teachers to create hands-on units of study that take all students to higher levels of learning.

As students build this strong educational foundation to prepare them for Middle School and beyond, our goal is that they also grow in the Word of God and come to develop a close, personal relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
