Our mission is to provide quality materials and services which fulfill the educational, informational, cultural, and recreational needs of the entire FBA community in an atmosphere that is welcoming and respectful. The Library houses a wide variety of print and electronic resources and is dedicated to the creation of lifelong readers and learners. In everything we do, the Library supports the mission and goals of First Baptist Academy.
Lower School students are introduced to the basics of library arrangement and information literacy and each year builds on the skills learned in the previous year. All Lower School students visit the library one scheduled day during the week and have access to the Library anytime during regular hours. Click here for links and resources for Lower School students.
Middle School students have open access to the Library anytime during regular hours. During research projects, instruction is given both in the classroom and in the Library during the literature class period. Click here for links and resources for Middle School students.
The FBA Library offers access to several databases from ProQuest. These databases are available for research and leisure by all students at First Baptist Academy. For login information or questions about the products offered, please contact the Librarian.
The Librarian is in the office on school days from 7:30 am until 4 pm.
